Is it possible for a company to survive with a good product with bad customer service? How about a not-so-good product with good customer service? The chances are that survival may be very slim and not geared towards long-term success. Good quality products and excellent customer service undoubtedly form a synergistic effect in business. Both combined builds loyalty, higher chances of repeated interaction, increased customer value, and satisfaction. Sit down and form a SWOT analysis for your products or service and your customer service efforts. Thereafter do an objective thorough evaluation of your findings. After the evaluation, make a list of what can be done to improve the process, even if it’s the slightest modification or improvement.

Lastly, provide a resource or platform to gather customer feedback because ultimately, the customers decide. Use the feedback to test your findings further and for possible shortfalls. The bottom line is that we all strive for repeated business and long-term success; this can be achieved by having great products and excellent customer service.
