The Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) in partnership with the Social Security Board (SSB) have prepared a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) to respond to several concerns Employers may have had during this time dealing with sickness benefit claims, employees’ absences from work and handling any other related labour issues at the workplace.

Required Documents:
- Sickness Claim Form/SB1 (employee to complete parts 1 to 4)
- Salaries Record Sheet (employer/HR rep to complete on behalf of employee)
- Banking information required, especially for first time claimants
