1. Sub-grant Process – Request For Proposals
In moving forward with the Open Government project in Belize, The Trust For The Americas is now in their third phase, which is the Call for Proposals (Fund for Open Government projects). This Sub-grant process aims to support the country with donations of up to US$5,000 to 10 civil society organizations for the implementation of projects-initiatives along with a government authority, to promote the principles of Open Government in their districts.
The purpose of the seed funding is to sponsor the participation of civil society in the implementation of specific projects under the principles of Open Government – transparency, collaboration and citizen participation. The Trust For The Americas would be extremely grateful if the information, including the attached reference documents, can be shared within your network for review, and submission of innovative and creative solutions for possible seed funding.
In order for participants to be approved, they must first complete the application process and have their project concept be evaluated. All details can be found on the following website:
