EU market access services

The TACARI project partners have develop an innovative tool for promoting EU market access capacity building: The EU market access Business Development Services (BDS) manual. This is a very practical manual which is customer made for the intermediary business organisations (IBOs). With this manual IBOs will be able to develop and improve their EU market access services for their clients/members. In addition, it will allow them to generate extra income, as these high quality services are based on a fee. The manual provides information and guidance on technical market issues and organisational management of these services. It addresses the following specific subjects:

• content of the EU market access service(s)
• information on how to present and promote these service(s)
• finding information on the EU website
• how to successfully organize EU market access workshops/seminars 
• how to provide customer made assistance
• how to organize your EU market access service(s)

The TACARI EU market access BDS manual will be used for implementing the technical training missions. During these missions experts of the Euro Info Centre business support network of the European Commission, in cooperation with the participating IBO, will implement in a very practical manner the EU market access service. These practical activities can include: uploading EU market access information on your website, how to find EU market access information, setting up an internal structure for EU market access services (EU market access information officer/manager) and a digital library with specific EU market access information.
