BCCI hosts Business Mixer on the Impending Amendments to the Labour Act

On Thursday, August 5, 2010, the Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)  conducted another Business Mixer to discuss the Impending Amendments to the Labour Act. The BCCI's Labour Sub-Council was invited to update the membership, and the Chair of the Labour Sub-Council, Ms. Margaret Ventura, gave a presentation on the implications of the proposed amendments. BCCI's Executive Council President, Ms. Kay Menzies, also provided an update. The BCCI will continue striving to keep its members informed on this and other matters that may arise that affects the business environment.
